Hello, I’m Helen!

I’m a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Germany, with a particular passion for children’s books, visual storytelling, and character design.

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Communication Design in 2025, specializing in children’s book illustration. Alongside my freelance work, I teach book illustration at Trier University of Applied Sciences.

My work is driven by curiosity, imagination, and a love for the little details that make stories come alive. I enjoy creating atmospheric illustrations, expressive characters, and playful visual worlds that invite viewers to explore, discover, and dream.

Beyond illustrating other people’s ideas, I also write and develop my own children’s book stories, combining my love for words and images.

Whether you’re an author looking to bring a story to life, a publisher searching for an illustrator, or someone with a creative idea in mind, I’d love to hear from you.

Let’s create something wonderful together!
